The Seacoast Astrological Association (SAA) was started in 1990 by Astrologers Dusty Bunker, Kim Rogers Gallagher and Frank Kennedy in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The organization grew to over 100 members and entertained astrologers from around the world including Rob Hand, Jim Lewis, Gloria Starr, Michael Lutin, Jeff Jawer and Rick Levine, Kim Rogers Gallagher (Past SAA President), Maria Kay Simms (Current SAA Member), Nick Campion, Robert Pelletier (Current SAA member), David Pond, and many more. The organization was quiet for several years and was re-energized in 2010 by R. Ann Rousseau, Dorothy Morgan, Maria Kay Simms, Frank Kennedy (Past SAA President), Mark Douglas, Dusty Bunker (Past SAA President), Tom Canfield, and Jim Jossick.

In 2010, the legacy continued with lectures by such distinguished astrologers as Gary Christensen and Madalyn Hillis Dineen from Astrolabe, Joyce Levine, Elizabeth Hermon, David Perloff, Alphee Lavoie, Kim Rogers Gallagher, Michael Elliot from Marc Edmund Jones Society, Maria Kay Simms, Amy Shapiro, Andrea Klim, Dan Page (Ansara), Jan Spiller, and many more.
The organization is committed to the education of astrology for the beginner to advanced level.
